Proverbs – The ABC’s of Developing A Skill for Living

Elliot Ng

The Wisdom Literature was given by God for believers to learn to live wisely, yet most Christians have not taken the time to avail themselves of these riches. As one of the books of wisdom, Proverbs is probably even less understood as a whole or unit than the other voices of wisdom like Job and Ecclesiastes.  However, God has given us this practical down-to-earth book to help us navigate the complexities and perplexities of daily living. Regardless of your age, life isn’t easy. We need wisdom to carry us through life successfully. This may be an opportunity to dust off the pages of Proverbs and gain an ageless and priceless skill for everyday living from God himself.
